Job Purpose:              

“To provide accurate and complete financial statements for management’s review on a timely basis to the required standard. Ensure compliance of company’s travel policies and procedures”


Key Accountabilities:

In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:


Administration and Internal Controls

  • To manage the foreign currency and ensure sufficient availability for business trip advance
  • To issue debit notes for sundry receivables as required
  • To keep track and follow up the settlement status of sundry receivables
  • To apply for new and renewal of business registration for assigned companies
  • To prepare turnover report to landlords


Accounting Procedures

  • To prepare the monthly financial accounts for assigned companies
  • To prepare monthly tax computation for assigned companies
  • To input and maintain the fixed asset register for assigned companies
  • To prepare journal vouchers and monthly accounts reconciliation
  • To work with Corporate Office on inter-group current account reconciliation
  • To review and follow up outstanding items in the monthly accounts reconciliation
  • To prepare annual auditing schedules and draft audit accounts for assigned companies
  • To liaise with auditor and follow up the audit issues
  • To contribute in streamlining and improvement of internal workflow and procedures


Compliance and Business Integrity

  • To ensure that all financial practices are sound and in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards and prevailing legislation as well as company guidelines, policies and procedures
  • To coordinate with other divisions / departments on strengthening internal control systems
  • To ensure that people understand and are complying with the procedures and processes

  • High Diploma or Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • 1 - 2 years relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Proficient in MS Excel (e.g. pivot table, vlookup) is a must
  • Self-motivated, independent, responsible and detail-oriented
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong command of spoken and written skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
