Lab Concept is the contemporary retail management arm of The Lane Crawford Joyce Group working in partnership with leading contemporary brands. We handpick dynamic fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands from all over the world, including TOPSHOP TOPMAN. We also operate a 64,000 square foot lifestyle shopping mall in Admiralty, which opened in 2012.

Form our mall in Admiralty to multiple key locations across Hong Kong, including Central, Times Square and Ocean Terminal, we are staying true to our vision of “where style meets accessibility”.

Apart from our fashion exclusives, we also feature over 50 beauty brands in our FACESSS stores – from international favorites to the newest trends in Korean beauty.

A selection of modern food and lifestyle options in the Lab Concept Mall, including Starbucks, I See I See, M&S Food, Crystal Jade and Simplylife completes the lifestyle experience.

To pride yourself on offering customers the highest level of service and advising on a one to one personal shopping basis.  You will be a brand ambassador, selected to represent the service and TOPSHOP.  You will wear TOPSHOP at all times, show casing how it should be worn day to day.  Be a style leader showing passion and enthusiasm for the TOPSHOP brand.  You will need to build relationships and acquire clients, adding to the footfall in to the Personal Shopping service.       

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • To build a high net worth client base through networking opportunities.
  • Offer the highest level of service with a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the brand.
  • Lead by example in all areas of role whilst in store and out of store.
  • Line Management responsibility for one Personal Shopping Assistant
  • Support Manager to drive own development and that of the Assistant population, coach and develop where needed.
  • Build diary weekly and recognise short falls in appointment numbers.  
  • Have a great understanding of the department, store and company procedures whilst being flexible to accommodate any client request.
  • Build relationships with brand and store to support future service and client needs.
  • Have a strong sense of own personal style and be able to interpret that of others.    
  • Confident in approach to press interviews and photo shoots, able to talk about the service in a positive and inspirational way.   
  • Ability to make decisions that directly impact on the service day to day.
  • Time management is essential.   
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding personal targets.
  • Delegate tasks accordingly across service to meet and exceed your client expectations.   
  • Adhere to the private and confidentiality agreement.
  • Have an input in to selection process when recruiting the assistant team.  
  • Forward plan diary for the year, to understand where your entertainment budget will be needed.  Propose yearly calendar and gain sign off.

Requirement

At least 1 year of similar working experience in retail industry
