Job Purpose:

“To produce accurate financial statements on a timely basis and ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance of company's policies and procedures.”

 

Key Accountabilities:

In addition to following Group's policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Accounting Procedures

  • Handle full set month-end closing and monthly reporting
  • Prepare monthly adjustment journals and schedules
  • Prepare and analyze cash flow forecast
  • Review daily transactions and prepare monthly account reconciliation
  • Prepare various statutory reports and tax computation
  • Liaise with auditor and follow up audit issues
  • Assist management on ad-hoc reports and analysis

 

Internal Controls and Administration

  • Assist setup and deploy financial controls to meet the internal controls, risk management and corporate governance requirements of the Group
  • Assist in system enhancement and workflow enhancement
  • Review monthly turnover report to landlords prepared by subordinates

Team Leadership

  • Provide on the job coaching to team members facilitating them to meet and exceed the requirements of their job
  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for additional training for the team
  • Monitor and review performance of team

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder in Accounting or Finance
  • HKICPA or equivalent qualification is required
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Experience in using Oracle is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Strong team player, proactive, independent and detail minded
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills to communicate well with other divisions and departments
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is a definite advantage
