Job Purpose: 

“To install PC hardware and software; to support user problems and to work with other Technology teams to implement applications to different office and store locations”

 

Key Accountabilities:

In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

 

User Support

  • To install and maintain hardware and software for users
  • To relocate PC and peripherals upon user requests
  • To provide front line support and troubleshoot users problems on production applications such as RMS, POS, ATG and corporate email system
  • To provide front line support and troubleshooting to all Point-of-sale peripherals at all shop locations, special promotion events and warehouse sales, including overseas
  • To provide on-call after office hours support
  • To fully understand and be able to communicate our Omni-channel service to customers if needed

 

System Support

  • To evaluate and implement new office software (i.e. printing software, virus detection software, etc.), hardware equipment (i.e. all in one printer, wireless technology, etc.)
  • To assist the Senior Hardware Engineer to liaise with software and hardware vendor for special features of their products

 

Network Support

  • To assist the Infra Specialist/Infra Manager/Senior Hardware Engineer to maintain, configure and troubleshoot servers, network equipment (i.e. Routers, switches, firewall, etc.)
  • To assist the Infra Specialist/Infra Manager/Senior Hardware Engineer to maintain the Local Area Network and Wide Area Network and take corrective measures if necessary
