As the Assistant Brand Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our diverse brand portfolio at Lane Crawford. You will support the development and execution of brand strategies that enhance customer engagement initiatives, analyse market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

 

The Role 

  • Achieve seasonal sales and profit targets for assigned brands and categories while maximizing sales and inventory efficiency through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and pursue new brand acquisitions to meet evolving customer needs, and manage negotiations with vendors to secure exclusive programs that optimize sales and profit.
  • Proactively analyze competition to minimize market share loss and ensure that staff leverage Omni-channel technology to enhance customer shopping experiences.
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to develop Omni-marketing plans, oversee brand collaborations, and analyze marketing activity outcomes to ensure alignment with Lane Crawford's standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, business partners, and landlords to drive strategic collaborations and promote Lane Crawford Beauty.
  • Develop annual and quarterly key objectives with the brand manager, monitor progress, and provide insights on growth opportunities based on market trends and customer demands.
  • Enhance in-store and online customer experiences through effective merchandising, zoning, and marketing initiatives while supporting Omni development and project management.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, particularly in brand management within a retail or beauty environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profit targets, demonstrating strong results-oriented performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Omni-channel retailing and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills to secure beneficial partnerships.
  • Analytical skills to interpret KPIs and conduct market analysis effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.
