We are looking for a passionate and talented Assistant HR Manager - Business Partner to support the Retail teams across our stores in Hong Kong on a broad spectrum of HR areas.

 

This role will be working closely and reporting to the HR Manager - Business Partner.

 

The Role

 

  • Assist HRM on daily HR operations for the retail population including talent acquisition, employee relations, HR policies and compliance, and performance management.
  • Support the entire staffing process and system updates on new hires onboarding, probation review, staff exits, facilitating internal promotions, and coordinating transfers throughout the employee cycle. Facilitate a pleasant and welcoming employee journey.
  • Follow up and communicate with DSMs / store admin / store teams on HR solutions approved by HRD including employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Manage the retail end-to-end recruitment process, and support on talent acquisition projects and initiatives.
  • Enhance employee engagement through regular store visits, interactive communication, and strong relationship-building with the retail team.
  • Develop talent networks and pipelines within the retail industry for future recruitment opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to HR-related policies and procedures, conducting regular reviews to align with employment laws and best practices.

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

  • Degree holder in HR Management or related disciplines. An Employment Ordinance certification is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of proven experience as a well-rounded HR Business Partner, preferably in Retail or another customer-facing industry.
  • All round experience in talent acquisition and development, compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and employment laws and policies.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, data-driven business partner, with a deep understanding of customer facing populations.
  • Proactive quick learner with effective communication skills and a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
