Key Accountabilities:

In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:


Email Marketing

  • Managing the companies email campaigns and communicating company brands through email marketing includes copywriting of subject lines, text preview and email content,
  • Analysis of current email marketing campaigns and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Managing trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximise sales.
  • Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing remarketing strategies.
  • A/B Testing on various email campaigns to establish the most effective.
  • MVT Testing on email marketing campaigns.
  • Tracking and reporting on email campaigns in order to guide improvements.
  • Reporting to the Social Media and Audience Manager on sales revenues generated through email marketing campaigns.
  • Ensuring all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry.
  • Working closely with the Head of CRM to develop a clear CRM strategy.
  • Tracking Segmentation effectiveness to improve targeting and personnalisation
  • Outlying clear recommendations from findings and learnings


Communications Planning

  • Collaborate with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team in Hong Kong to define key customer segments to be targeted
  • Support communication development of big, smaller and always-on marketing programmes in Hong Kong, including Pedder Group
  • Contribute to the development of integrated and omni-channel marketing strategies with the wider marketing team, designed to generate brand awareness, store and online traffic, customer engagement and prospective customers’ data acquisition in Hong Kong
  • Define key dates, messaging, and calls to action for each programme, ensuring they deliver the set objectives
  • Ensure all communications scheduled are signed off in a timely manner prior to execution
  • Collaborate with the China Team to support them with planning, brand asset collection and proposals.


Programme Delivery and Management

  • Manage the communications calendar of Hong Kong & Rest of the World (ROW) to ensure full alignment with the connected calendar which reflects all marketing activities across product and service, online and offline in Hong Kong
  • Manage the Hong Kong communications budget, ensuring communications planned achieve set targets and are delivered within budget
  • Maintain a close communication with partners from Pedder Group to ensure their business needs are accounted for
  • Support the delivery of all events in Hong Kong & ROW always ensuring full adherence to brand guidelines
  • Track, measure and report on performance of the various communications, providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to other key areas of the business



VIP (Diamond Customers) Management

  • Further build and develop the network of key partners in Hong Kong, driving new and interesting concepts to engage with our VIP customers
  • Responsible for the planning and purchase of gifting programs for top VIPs during festive periods
  • Strategise and develop engagement programs for VIP customers to increase retention rate, working closely with Sales and Service team on the execution


Internal Communication

  • Share communication plans and initiatives with the wider Lane Crawford teams to ensure message synchronisation across all other communication channels and commercial channels is achieved
  • Produce and share valuable insights about Hong Kong to the rest of the marketing teams and the wider business
  • Collaborate with the various customer-facing teams such as online retail, store and customer care teams to deliver an enhanced connected customer experience
  • Produce and share valuable insights to the rest of the marketing teams and the wider business


Financial Management

  • To develop and execute all programs within the approved framework and within authorized budget
  • To analyse and evaluate the results for all marketing activities, prepare reports and required on time including proposals, post mortems, CRM analysing and various other requests appropriate for each program
  • To monitor the expenses of each campaign on an ongoing basis
  • To review agency costs and efficiencies to improve ROI
