The Role 

  • Achieve the seasonal sales and profit targets for the assigned Jellycat brand variations and Home & Lifestyle categories.
  • Monitor sell-through metrics and identify ways to maximize sales and inventory efficiency, measured by corporate KPIs.
  • Formulate seasonal budgets based on brand performance, historical data, and forthcoming business strategies.
  • Negotiate with vendors in a firm, but fair, manner to secure optimized trade terms, stock availability, performance targets, and brand-differentiating exclusive product lines.
  • Work with assigned vendors to formulate a yearly retail calendar and strategic plan to scale the business and drive exciting, exclusive product collections.
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact to share brand direction and strategic updates with the Content, Brand Creative, and Store Operations teams.
  • Interface with the Marketing department to ensure all product information, supply schedules, and inventory allocations are flawlessly communicated to support their overarching campaigns.
  • Review the in-store and online customer experience and take appropriate action regarding commercial merchandising, product zoning, counter designs, and presentation updates.
  • Support floor space planning and related project management to deliver a premium, storytelling-led in-store retail environment.
  • Ensure all boutique and concierge sales staff are fully trained on product knowledge and narrative elements, equipping them to effectively sell the assigned category lines.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, particularly in brand management within a retail environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profit targets, demonstrating strong results-oriented performance.
  • Strong knowledge of customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills to secure beneficial partnerships.
  • Analytical skills to interpret KPIs and conduct market analysis effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.
