As the Commercial Contract Manager, you will review commercial contract terms to ensure alignment with Lane Crawford’s business objectives. You will track contract milestones and oversee tenancy approvals to ensure compliance with policies.
The Role
- Assess and review commercial and contract terms proposed by internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and targets.
- Work closely with Legal and Buying teams to effectively formulate and execute commercial contracts.
- Track contract milestones, including break and end dates, and recommend appropriate actions to optimize contract management.
- Oversee the trading term review process to ensure timely execution of commercial agreements, minimizing risks and enhancing profitability.
- Oversee the approval and execution of tenancy and sublease agreements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and financial forecasting to develop strategic proposals for new leases and lease renewals, identifying opportunities for value enhancement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial contract management and business analysis within a finance or real estate context.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems). Familiarity with lease management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements governing commercial leases and contracts
