As a Merchandising Executive, you will support the food buying and merchandising team in all aspects of the establishment of the buying process to bring in a selection of food and drink merchandise which ties in with the company’s strategic direction whilst maximizing the profit opportunities for the company.
The Role
- Provide administrative support to the buying team in all aspects during the buying process for designated portfolio.
- Support the Food Management team on monitoring and updating the project plan for food.
- Establish systems and SOPs with the buying and merchandising team for running the food process.
- Liaise closely with vendors on purchase orders / proforma invoice checking, shipment / delivery follow up as well as merchandise samples coordination and any other product info updates.
- Keep track of merchandise details by inputting and maintaining PO data on system in a timely manner as well prepare basic merchandising reports.
- Communicate with store team regularly on shipment info, price change, sale period and any other updates in order to support the sale front end.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, communications departments etc. on required product information updates.
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree holder in Business, Hospitality or other related discipline.
- Relevant working experience in customer service, liaison with multiple vendors, administrative support in shipping / logistics etc.
- Good team player with strong sense of responsibility.
- Attentive to details, good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English required.
- Numbers-driven with excellent Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge in VLOOKUP and Pivot Table.
