Project and Design Officer

Lane Crawford is an internationally renowned luxury department store with over 175 years of success, delivering an exceptional and eclectic product curation with dynamic Asian spirit and values. As our Project and Design Officer, you will support the execution of retail design and store presentation projects by providing design development, project coordination, and high quality 3D renderings. The role bridges creative vision and practical implementation, ensuring brand consistency and excellence in visual presentation across all store environments.

The Role 

• Support the planning and execution of store presentation projects from concept to completion.
• Liaise with internal teams (CBO, visual merchandising & retail operations) and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
• Develop conceptual and detailed design proposals for store layouts, fixtures, and semi personalised spaces.
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings, mood boards, and visual presentations to communicate design intent.
• Assist in the creation of technical drawings and design documentation for production and implementation.
• Maintain and organize design assets, templates, and rendering libraries.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 4–5 years of experience in design and project coordination, preferably in retail or hospitality environments.
• Proficient in 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, or equivalent)
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting tools is a plus.
• Strong visual storytelling and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
