Lane Crawford is an internationally renowned luxury department store with over 175 years of success, delivering an exceptional and eclectic product curation with dynamic Asian spirit and values. As the Senior Human Resources Manager in our HRBP team, you will play a pivotal role in addressing labor disputes and enhancing employee relations. You will lead the management of HR policies for designated departments, ensure accurate data maintenance, and oversee staff transitions while ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.

 

The Role 

  • Collaborate with colleagues and senior management to address HR needs and initiatives, providing comprehensive support and guidance across various levels within the organization.
  • Promptly identify and flag HR-related issues, developing and implementing effective solutions to resolve complex problems.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately in both English and an Asian language, drafting and reviewing HR documents with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with ease while planning, prioritizing, and managing workloads to meet tight deadlines and long-term project timelines.
  • Utilize data with precision and integrity to create insightful reports and recommendations, implementing data-driven solutions to drive positive organizational change.
  • Adapt to new situations and prioritize critical tasks in a dynamic environment, continuously seeking and introducing improvements to enhance HR outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively as a single team with the Senior HR Manager for Mainland China to ensure smooth coverage of the region, sharing best practices and information with local People Team colleagues. Actively participate in meetings and discussions to foster the sharing of ideas and solutions.

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field;
  • Over 12 years of experience in HR management, particularly within top-tier luxury retailers and global organizations, with a strong focus on collaboration with colleagues and senior management.
  • Proven ability to identify issues, provide strategic advice, and manage complex problems through resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and an Asian language, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and judgment, enabling quick building of professional relationships.
  • Strong organizational abilities to effectively manage workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Regular use of data to create compelling narratives, translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Agile and resilient, thriving in fast-paced environments while prioritizing critical tasks and continuously seeking improvements.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Manager position.
