As a Senior Merchandise Planner, a numbers-obsessed strategist with killer instincts. You keep the flow tight, the shelves right, and the drops just‑in‑time.



The Role

  • Collaborate internally to develop merchandising plans for food retail and F&B brands during pre-opening and ongoing phases.
  • Manage the supply chain process for incoming brands including, shipping timelines, labelling compliance and open to buy projections and planning.
  • Analyse product performance data and provide insights to maximize sales, including optimizing customer conversions, average transactions, and repeat purchases.
  • Lead the planning and execution of merchandising for new and incoming retail and F&B brands, managing changeover processes and timelines.
  • Contribute to budgeting by providing sales forecasts, inventory requirements, and cost projections for merchandising activities.
  • Liaise with operations and marketing teams to gather feedback on product performance and trends for future brand and assortment development.
  • Execute merchandising elements of the marketing and promotions calendar, ensuring seamless integration with store operations.
  • Monitor local trading environments, competition, tourism, and consumer trends in premium food sectors, reporting to senior management.
  • Provide training and resources to operations teams on product knowledge for new brands and products.
  • Coordinate with head office on stock allocation, promotions, and merchandising issues.
  • Work closely with buyers and marketing to align merchandising strategies with product sourcing and promotional efforts.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree holder in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in premium food retail, luxury F&B, or related merchandising environments.
  • Experience in pre-opening or brand launch merchandising preferred.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Business acumen with a customer-focused and trend-savvy mindset.
  • Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English required.
  • Proficiency in merchandising systems, inventory management, and data analysis tools.
